Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is 6 km (4 mi.) w. on Mountain Rd., which becomes Grey Rd. 19; at traffic circle take the third exit 3 km (1.9 mi.) w. onto Scenic Caves Rd./Grey County Rd. 119. The site overlooks 10,000 square kilometres of south Georgian Bay from the highest point of the Niagara Escarpment. Visitors can view the large, standing rock on the former site of a Huron Petun village—Ekarenniondi—and visit the Ice Cave and Fat Man's Misery, both carved by glaciers millions of years ago. Rare and exotic plants, including maidenhair fern, also are featured.

A 128-metre-long (420-foot) suspension bridge extends across the valley. Other activities include a trout pond, a mini golf course, gemstone mining, a children's adventure playground and a miniature train ride. A guided eco-adventure tour featuring treetop canopy walking, a cave tour and two ziplines are available May through October. Winter recreational activities include cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

The eco-adventure tour involves stairs and steep paths; running/hiking shoes are required. Pets are not permitted.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
