Lang Pioneer Village Museum, 10 km (6 mi.) e. on Hwy. 7, then 6 km (4 mi.) s. on CR 34 (Heritage Line), following signs, is a re-created pioneer village with more than 30 restored and re-created 19th-century buildings. Nestled on the banks of the Indian River, the picturesque village features costumed interpreters who recall the early settlement days of the area and demonstrate traditional chores, trades and pastimes. Highlights include the First Nations at Aabnaabin Camp, a working 19th century grist mill and farm animals. Special events held throughout the year include tractor and car shows, harvest festivals and a heritage Christmas. Special days feature wagon rides, musicians and guest demonstrators.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
