Nordia House is at 8800 S.W. Oleson Rd. Home to the Scandinavian Heritage Foundation, Nordia House is a cultural center promoting the history and contemporary values of the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Completed in 2015, the sleek building is designed to evoke the modern architecture of Scandinavia, admitting plenty of daylight and blending with the natural environment. An exhibit hall features traveling exhibitions, and special events and performances are held throughout the year.
Nearby is Fogelbo, a historic house containing a large collection of Nordic antiques and folk art. The house is open on a limited basis for reserved tours.
