Crater Rock Museum

Crater Rock Museum is 1.3 mi. e. on SR 99 then .4 mi. e. to 2002 Scenic Ave. The site features minerals from around the world and a large collection of petrified woods as well as rocks that are indigenous to Oregon and other parts of the United States and Mexico. Fossils, Native American artifacts, a mid-1800s scrimshaw collection and shells also are included, and glasswork by artist Dale Chihuly and his students is displayed.

Guided tours are available by appointment.
