Historic. The basement of this circa 1776 home now serves as Springhouse Tavern, a quaint ale house where you'll be treated to sandwiches, salads, steak, homemade soups and tasty "pecan pye." Many come for the history of the building, which includes mid-1800s turns as an Underground Railroad stop and Civil War hospital. However, the tasty comfort foods and friendly service are also worth noting.
