Bear Run Nature Reserve

Bear Run Nature Reserve, on SR 381, includes more than 5,000 acres of forest, 20 miles of trails, more than eight miles of streams and is the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy's largest property. The organization's goal is to preserve the diversity of local ecosystems by protecting, conserving and restoring land, water and foliage. Hiking, primitive camping, bird-watching, hunting, fishing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are permitted.

Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted.
