Independence Archeology Lab, 313 Walnut St. within Independence National Historical Park, is a laboratory where you can watch archeologists at work and learn how the small artifacts they study help piece together what life was like in 18th- and 19th-century Philadelphia. The items being studied were excavated 2000-03 before and during the National Constitution Center construction. Visitors may see archeologists at work in the park (weather permitting).
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
