Bartram's Garden is entered from Lindbergh Blvd. w. of 54th St. Formerly the 18th-century farm of Colonial botanist John Bartram, the estate is now a 45-acre public park and community farm on the banks of the Schuylkill River. The grounds feature the furnished Bartram family home, the botanical garden, walking paths, a wildflower meadow, wetlands and a historic cider press. A restored 19th century garden features roses, dahlias and peonies.
