Tour-Ed Mine & Museum

Tour-Ed Mine & Museum, off SR 28 exit 14 then .1 mi. n. on Bull Creek Rd., offers guided tours of a deep coal mine. The mantrip carries visitors a quarter-mile into the mine where the tour begins. Displays feature actual equipment in working condition and illustrate the coal-mining process. A museum exhibits a company store, a miner's log cabin and coal jewelry.

The underground temperature is a constant 54 F.

Note: A jacket and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
