City Hall (Casa Alcaldía)

City Hall (Casa Alcaldía) fronts the Plaza de Armas (Military Square) on Calle San Francisco. Construction began on this building in 1602 and wasn't completed until 1789. The facade is said to have been inspired by the city hall in Madrid, Spain. A small museum chronicles San Juan's history. An information center is near the Calle San Francisco entrance.
