Mary Queen of the World Cathedral (Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde), bounded by rues Cathédrale and Mansfield on boul. René-Lévesque (M: Bonaventure), was built 1870-94. The Roman Catholic cathedral, a one-third scale replica of St. Peter's in Rome, contains a collection of paintings by Québec artist George Delfosse.
