Montréal Space for Life

Montréal Space for Life (Espace Pour la Vie Montréal) is a natural science museum complex encompassing the following sites: Montréal Biodôme (M: Viau), Biosphère de Montréal (M: Jean-Drapeau), Montréal Botanical Garden (M: Pie-IX), Montréal Insectarium (M: Pie-IX) and Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium (M: Viau). The geodesic dome of the Biosphère, symbolizing social innovation and human inventivemess, is home to artistic, scientific and civic exhibits, bringing together all forms of knowledge.

Grande Place, which links all of the sites, features walkways, meeting places, event spaces and year-round activities, all set around an urban vegetable garden.
