AAA Editor Notes
Cartier-Brébeuf National Historic Site (Lieu historique national Cartier-Brébeuf) is 3.5 km (2 mi.) n. via Côte d'Abraham and rue de la Couronne at 175 rue de L'Espinay. The landscaped park on the St. Charles River commemorates the site where Jacques Cartier and his crew wintered during his second voyage to Canada in 1535. The site also recalls the establishment of the first Jesuit residence in Québec by missionaries around 1625. An interpretation center offers portable and interactive devices to enhance your visit.
