Roger-Van den Hende Botanical Garden (Jardin botanique Roger-Van den Hende) is on the Laval University campus in the sector of Ste-Foy at 2480 boul. Hochelaga at jct. of Robert-Bourassa Highway. The site, in the heart of the city, is home to a dazzling array of plants—more than 4,000 species and cultivars arranged in order of botanical family. Along with flora native to Québec, ornamental plants from Asia, Europe and North America grace the grounds of this 6-hectare (15-acre) educational garden.

Visitors will appreciate the site's arboretum, idyllic water garden, collection of herbaceous plants, annual plant trial beds, peony collection, rhododendrons, and fragrant rose garden.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
