AAA Editor Notes
Saint-Louis Forts and Chateaux National Historic Site (Lieu historique national des Forts-et-Châteaux-Saint-Louis), can be accessed from the Frontenac kiosk on the Dufferin Terrace. The site contains an archeological crypt revealing what was, for more than 200 years, the official residence and seat of power of the French and British governors. Activities include chocolate tasting (late June to early September), a daily archeological dig and 30-minute guided tours. The site affords a nice view of the St. Lawrence River.

Guided tours are available.
