Historic. Built in 1676, the city's oldest house is a charming spot in which to savor hearty traditional Quebecois cuisine like meat pie, poutine, pea soup, bison stew and maple syrup pie. Other entrées include red deer filet, braised lamb shank, bison Bourguignon in a creamy blueberry-wine sauce and grilled duck breast. The caribou, deer and bison rillette, a pâté served with sweetened carrot confit and crostini, is a perfect little bite to start your meal. At lunch and dinner, the reasonably priced table d'hôte includes a starter and dessert.
