This stately 1836 Victorian-style cottage home in the mansion district of historic Newport is tastefully decorated with antiques. All rooms have gas fireplaces and most have jetted tubs. The grand entry sets the tone with its 33-foot ceiling, richly detailed oak walls, stained-glass windows, and stately fireplace hearth. Inside, period antiques and Victorian décor add charm and character to the rooms. In season, guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, best savored on the inviting wraparound porch. This is an ideal location for visitors exploring Newport’s famous mansions.
