Beneficent Congregational Church, United Church of Christ (Round Top Church)

Beneficent Congregational Church, United Church of Christ (Round Top Church) is at 300 Weybosset St. First established on the site in 1743, the current 1810 structure is one of the earliest examples of Classical Revival architecture in the country. The New England-style interior houses period fixtures and was the site of many historic events, including the first graduation of Brown University. The church often is called a meeting house as the building hosts both sacred and secular gatherings.
