AAA Editor Notes
Newport History Tours depart from the Museum & Shop at Brick Market, 127 Thames St. Guided tours take visitors on a 75-minute narrated stroll through historic Newport neighborhoods to discover sites such as the 1739 Colony House, the Wanton-Lyman-Hazard House and the 1699 Great Friends Meeting House, the oldest surviving house of worship in Rhode Island. Additional tours are available.

Time: Allow 1 hour, 15 minutes minimum.

$15; $10 (active duty military with ID); $5 (ages 6-12). Reservations are recommended.

Tours depart daily at 10, June-Oct.; Sat.-Sun. at 10:30, Apr.-May and Nov.-Dec. Phone ahead for schedule of additional tours. Closed major holidays.
