AAA Editor Notes
City Hall, 80 Broad St. at jct. Meeting St., first was used as the United States Bank. Built in 1801, it contains historic relics and a portrait gallery in the Council Chamber. Among the paintings are John Trumbull's 1791 portrait of George Washington and Samuel F.B. Morse's portrait of James Monroe.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
