AAA Editor Notes
Mace Brown Museum of Natural History is on the second floor of the School of Sciences and Mathematics Building at the College of Charleston, 202 Calhoun St. The museum's collection features fossils and skeletons of such creatures as a T-rex, cave bear, saber-toothed tiger and mastodon. A megalodon shark jaw also is on display. The fossils exhibited are primarily from South Carolina. College of Charleston student paleontologists serve as docents.

Parking can be challenging. Use public parking garages to avoid being towed from one of the residential streets.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
