Saint Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church

Saint Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church is between Meeting and King sts. at 93 Hasell St. Established in 1789, this is reputed to be the oldest parish in the southeastern United States. The church, dating from 1839, contains religious paintings and stained glass windows. The graveyard is a treasury of Charleston's Catholic history.
