Located just two miles from campus, this all-modern, classically styled inn is part of a community within a community at Clemson, set amid homes, shops and eateries at Patrick Square. Rooms feature plump, luxe bedding, huge TVs and large work spaces. Almost all rooms have a sofa; in king rooms, the sofa is a pull-out. If you’re a solo or duo traveler staying a night or two and on a budget, ask about the standard king rooms; they sacrifice space (and the sofa) but none of the other rooms’ style. A few one-bedroom suites are available, featuring a wet bar and pull-out sofa in the living room, as well as a huge bathroom with separate tub and shower.
