Andrew Jackson State Park

Andrew Jackson State Park is 8 mi. n. on US 521 to 196 Andrew Jackson State Park Rd. Commemorating Andrew Jackson, who was born in the vicinity, the park contains an amphitheater and a museum with documents and relics of the frontier period as well as a one-room log schoolhouse with exhibits. Camping, fishing and picnicking are permitted, and trails are available.
