Saskatchewan Science Centre is at 2903 Powerhouse Dr. in Wascana Centre, on the n. side of Wascana Lake. The Powerhouse of Discovery houses more than 100 permanent hands-on science exhibits and features live stage shows and demonstrations. Visitors who want to test their physical skills can tackle one of the tallest climbing walls in Canada. The 165-seat Kramer IMAX Theatre presents science and nature films on a five-story screen enhanced by a digital sound system, as well as selected classic movies at the monthly After Dark Film Series event.

Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.

Science center $12; $11 (ages 13-17); $10 (ages 3-12 and 60+). IMAX film showing $10; $9 (ages 13-17); $8 (ages 3-12 and 60+). Combination science center and IMAX theater ticket (or IMAX double feature) $20; $18 (ages 13-17); $16 (ages 3-12 and 60+). IMAX feature-length film $17; $16 (ages 13-17); $15 (ages 3-12 and 60+).
