AAA Editor Notes
Robert Mills House and Gardens, 1616 Blanding St., was designed by architect Robert Mills and houses a decorative arts collection. The 1823 house features formal English gardens and rooms furnished in the Regency style. Mills, the first federal architect of the United States, served seven presidents. His many notable designs include the Washington Monument and the U.S. Treasury Building in Washington, D.C.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.

$10; $7 (ages 6-12). Combination ticket with Mann-Simons Site, Hampton-Preston Mansion and Gardens, and Woodrow Wilson Family Home $36; $24 (ages 6-12).

Guided tours are offered on the hour Tues.-Sat. 10-1, Sun. 1-4. Closed major holidays.
