AAA Editor Notes
Ninety Six National Historic Site is at 1103 SR 248. Two Revolutionary War battles occurred on this site, one in 1775 and the other in 1781, when Patriot general Nathanael Greene laid siege to a force of some 550 British Loyalists entrenched near the village of Ninety Six. Visitors can explore the earthworks, old roadbeds, traces of the village, a reconstructed stockade fort and an early log cabin along a mile-long trail. The visitor center houses a museum and a theater presenting a 20-minute video about the history of the site.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
