Museum of Anthropology

Museum of Anthropology (Museo Regional de Antropología) is s. of downtown at Periférico Carlos Pellicer Camara #511, along the w. bank of the Río Grijalva and adjacent to the Tabasco State Theatre and Cultural College (CICOM). This modern museum exhibits Olmec and Mayan artifacts. The displays are complemented by photographs and maps of the archeological sites from which they were taken. All historical information is in Spanish, and no English-speaking guides are available.
