Mayfield Park and Nature Preserve is at 3503 W. 35th St. Brilliant blue peacocks stroll the grounds surrounding a historic cottage on this beautiful estate, which was given to the city by Mary Mayfield Gutsch in 1971 for use as a park. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1994, the estate features 2 acres of colorful gardens. Walking trails offer an opportunity to explore the surrounding wildlife habitat of Mayfield Nature Preserve.
