Cameron Park Zoo

Cameron Park Zoo is off I-35 exit 335A, then 2 mi. w. to 1701 N. Fourth St. The zoo features 52 acres of re-created natural habitats, including a 50,000-gallon coral reef saltwater aquarium. The African Savanna is home to giraffes, lions, white rhinoceroses and elephants; the Asian Forest features orangutans, Sumatran tigers and Komodo dragons. An otter exhibit lets kids slide down a clear tube while river otters swim around them. Other zoo residents include gibbons, lemurs and Galapagos tortoises.
