AAA Editor Notes
National Museum and Art Gallery is on the s.e. corner of Queen's Park Savannah at 117 Frederick St. Guarded by Spanish cannons that date from 1797, the museum houses an anchor that Columbus lost in Trinidad. Displays relate to Trinidad and Tobago's natural history, industry, geology and archeology. Of special note are elaborate costumes worn during Carnival celebrations as well as a gallery of folk art and crafts.
