Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is at 1600 Gendy St. Hands-on displays focusing on science, history, art and technology stimulate the imagination of both kids and adults. The Energy Blast exhibit explores north Texas' energy resources and features a 4-D theater experience, a 50,000-pound vibrating truck and a 30-foot replica of a drilling rig. The Collections Gallery features changing exhibits.

The 10,000-square-foot Cattle Raisers Museum relates the development of the cattle industry. Visitors can participate in a simulated cattle drive, operate a computerized ranch and learn about the industry's role in the 21st century.

Designed for ages 8 and under, the Fort Worth Children's Museum has live amphibians and reptiles and an outdoor water play area. The Noble Planetarium's state-of-the-art projection system affords an amazing view of more than 7,000 stars.
