The Odessa Meteor Crater and Museum

The Odessa Meteor Crater and Museum is off I-20 exit 108, following signs. The meteor crater, formed by a meteor shower an estimated 63,000 years ago, measures 500 feet in diameter and 15 feet in depth. The museum contains exhibits about meteorites and historical videos.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
