Henry B. González Convention Center

Henry B. González Convention Center is at 900 E. Market St. on the northwestern quadrant of Hemisfair. An extension of the San Antonio River flows through the heart of the complex, which houses an international conference center and the Lila Cockrell Theatre. Water taxis provide transportation to meetings from River Walk hotels. “The Confluence of Civilizations” mosaic mural is by Juan O'Gorman of Mexico; one of the exhibit halls features a mural by Carlos Merida.
