Moab Giants Dinosaur Park is 9 mi. n. on US 191 to the jct. with SR 313 (Dead Horse State Park/Canyonlands turnoff), then w. following signs to 112 W. SR 313. Visitors can hike the half-mile Dinosaur Trail for up-close encounters with more than 100 state-of-the-art, life-size replicas of various dinosaurs; these “Moab giants” have a dramatically scenic backdrop of rock formations, Arches National Park and the La Sal Mountains.

The Tracks Museum features interactive exhibits that explain the science behind fossil footprints and explore the paleontological significance of the Moab region. A 3D orientation film about the Age of Dinosaurs is shown in the Gateway Theater, while the 5D Paleoaquarium is a virtual adventure that takes you beneath the sea for an immersive look at the prehistoric deep. Visitors also can search the sand for evidence of bones at two dig sites. For younger kids there's a dinosaur-themed playground.
