Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum, 496 E. Main St., has hands-on exhibits that depict the prehistoric background of the Uinta Basin. Visitors are greeted by a 90-foot skeleton of a diplodocus, a plant-eating dinosaur, before entering a theater to view a brief film. Several other dinosaur skeletons, a simulated dig site, a wall of leaf fossils and a fenced dinosaur garden with life-size replicas also can be seen.
