Blue Ridge Music Center

Blue Ridge Music Center is at Milepost 213, 10 mi. s. of Galax, Va. The natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway is the backdrop for concerts, performances and special events held at this facility. Banjo and fiddle players frequent the main outdoor stage and the center's intimate indoor theater. Local and regional musicians perform in the visitor center breezeway as part of the Midday Mountain Music Program. Evening concerts are offered on weekends. The state-of-the-art Roots of American Music Museum explores the history, development and cultural impact of the music made in this region.
