AAA Editor Notes
The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design is at 2501 Monument Ave. A Tudor Revival mansion designed by American architect John Russell Pope houses a permanent collection of exhibits that depict the history of this grand structure completed in 1919. The historic building showcases gorgeous marble, woodwork and ceilings; the first floor is open to visitors and guided tours are offered.

Some of Pope's other designs include the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Changing exhibitions about architecture and design are offered.
