AAA Editor Notes
Wythe House is at 112 Palace Green St. at the Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area, off I-64 exit 238. Built in the mid-18th century, the attractive Georgian-style structure was the home of George Wythe, one of the period’s most prominent lawyers. He was a scholar who mentored Thomas Jefferson, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and the first law professor at William & Mary.
