Tranvías Veracruz departs from downtown on Paseo del Malecón and Plaza Acuario. Although the narration for this guided tour is in Spanish, it nevertheless offers a good overview of the city. The 40-minute tour route covers 21 historical points of interest, including the Customs House, railroad station, the Teatro de la Reforma and Zamora Park (where an original tour trolley car that was pulled by horses is on display). In between the tour narrative passengers are serenaded by lilting Veracruzan music.
