Historic nature and a quaint little restaurant locate by Jefferson's Monticello. The menu never really changes, but the quality is great.
AAA Inspector Notes
Historic. The tavern evokes a bygone age, and diners will be hard-pressed to find a better Colonial-style lunch buffet served in the true Southern tradition. Fried chicken can be enjoyed with a rich array of traditional sides, including stewed tomatoes, black-eyed peas and cornbread. Desserts vary; for a taste, try the peach cobbler. The atmosphere takes its cue from the 200-year-old log cabin setting. Don't miss the walk alongside the mill.
