American Rover Tall Sailing Ship Cruises departs from the Waterside District on Waterside Dr. Guests can work the sails, take a turn at the helm or just relax aboard the 135-foot-long, three-mast topsail schooner as it cruises the historic Hampton Roads harbor. The ship is modeled after the cargo schooners that plied the waters of Chesapeake Bay during the 1800s. Two-hour harbor and sunset cruises are offered.
Guided tours are available. Food is available.
