Richly canopied beds, rolling green lawns, floor-to-ceiling marble bathrooms, and a short walk to the Colonial village transports me to another time.
AAA Inspector Notes
Constructed in 1936, this Regency-style inn is historically decorated in exquisite detail and has a regal aura, featuring silk drapes and bedding, antiques and fine artwork throughout. The bathrooms are modern and very large, featuring floor-to-ceiling marble tile with walk-in showers and soaking tubs. Guest rooms in the Providence Hall wing have some Asian accents; some rooms have balconies and more casual bathrooms. But all still include the services and amenities of the inn.
Smoke free premises. 62 units. 3 stories (no elevator), interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
