Cashmere Museum & Pioneer Village is just off US 2 at 600 Cotlets Way. This museum re-creates the history of the Columbia River Indians before the arrival of white settlers; its collection of artifacts is considered among the best in the Northwest.
The village comprises 20 authentic pioneer structures, including a smithy, assay office, school, hotel, general store, saddle shop, doctor and dentist office, saloon, jail and post office. Also on display is a Great Northern Railway caboose, ticket office and section house. A working water wheel is on the bank of the Wenatchee River.
Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
