The collection includes 19 meticulously restored, rare World War II-era fighter planes from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and the former Soviet Union. Each plane represents a technological advancement in manned flight; many are the last examples of their type known to exist, and most are in flying condition. A highlight is the Messerschmitt 163B Komet, the world's first rocket-powered fighter.

Fly days, scheduled noon to 1 on selected dates from June to early October (weather permitting, phone for details), offer an opportunity to see two of these historic fighter craft take to the sky. Flights can be observed from an observation area adjacent to the runway.

Guided tours are available by reservation.
