Goldendale Observatory State Park

Goldendale Observatory State Park is 1.5 mi. n. of Main St. at 1602 Observatory Dr. The observatory houses a 24.5-inch reflecting telescope, one of the largest of its kind in the country available for public use. In addition to various telescopes, visitors also have access to a 152mm Lunt H-Alpha Solar telescope for viewing the sun.
