Hands On Children's Museum

Hands On Children's Museum is at 414 Jefferson St. N.E. The museum features activities and interactive displays geared to kids up to age 10, encouraging learning through hands-on play. Nine themed galleries and more than 150 exhibits focus on art, science and nature. Within the secure Outdoor Discovery Center kids can play while learning about the environment, and in Move It! they can experience the forces of gravity and friction. The museum also has an Early Development Center for toddlers and a child-oriented art studio.
