Winthrop National Fish Hatchery

Winthrop National Fish Hatchery, 1 mi. s. at 453-A Twin Lakes Rd., annually raises 600,000 spring chinook salmon, 250,000 coho salmon and 100,000 summer steelheads. A feeding pond is available. Spring release occurs in April and May. Large adult fish are at the hatchery from June through November.
