Mansion House is in Tu-Endie-Wei State Park at 1 Main St. Built by Walter Newman in 1796 as a public inn, the building is the oldest in the Kanawha Valley. Constructed of hewn logs, it has two fireplaces and contains local Colonial furniture and heirlooms as well as relics from the Battle of Point Pleasant.
