Daniel M. Soref National Geographic Dome Theater & Planetarium is at 800 W. Wells St. The state-of-the-art dome theater uses an advanced, full-color projection system to create stunning views of the night sky and show audiences remote regions of the universe. Both 3D and 2D high-resolution, large-format films also are shown on the 74-foot-diameter, hemispheric screen.
